5G Simulacrum

In the 11th of September Altice Labs hosted in its headquarters in Aveiro, a drill with different teams of emergency assistance using only 5G communications. This initiative happened in partnership with the City of Aveiro, Police & Fire Departments, Hospital of Aveiro, Altice Labs and Ericsson, with the objective to demonstrate the improvements that 5G provides in the response of crisis situations and emergencies, through the use of live images, drones and vital data of the casualties.

This initiative demonstrated the work that has been developed in the 5G ecosystem of Aveiro, which presents itself as a vital factor to promote local economy and the Aveiro Tech City initiative.
