Between 12 and 17 October, the Music Tech Fest (MTF) moves to Aveiro. This week a carefully selected group of MTF experts, together with a local group of creators, researchers and entrepreneurs will work with cutting-edge technologies, bringing together knowledge and experience to create new projects, products, businesses, artistic performances and inventions that are presented to the public on the last day of the initiative. Music is the backdrop for all these activities, as members of the MTF community use music as a kind of social glue that binds them together.

At the heart of the MTF ecosystem is MTFLabs, an innovation prototyping event that, during the week, will bring together international and local experts in work sessions that start with inspiring talks from guests who are at the forefront of their respective fields and then move on to hands-on labs that will focus on topics ranging from robotics and performance AI, Blockchain innovation, vocal technology, transhumanism and human body extensions, accessibility and neuro-feedback, new music formats and new forms of artistic expression.

Registration for MTFLabs is open and will run until 11th September. The work sessions, in Aveiro, take place from 12 to 16 October and on the 17th the ideas, projects and works resulting from this innovation meeting are presented.

MTF Labs are fully inclusive and aim to combine a variety of professional occupations and cultural, social and educational backgrounds.
